Terms and Conditions

About us

Bali Wellness Journey is run by Putu, based in Bali, Indonesia.
We put together and organise wellness retreat packages.
Your accommodation and resort facilities are provided by Hotel Komune, Keramas, Bali.

Your booking

Your booking is confirmed once we receive your 10% deposit and send you a written confirmation by email.

Prices

All prices are in US dollars, per person, and shown for twin share or solo stays. There are no hidden fees. Any special offers are shown on our retreat pages. Website prices are for bank transfer. Card payments (Visa or Mastercard) include a 3.5% processing fee on each payment.

Paying

The 10% deposit is non refundable.
The remaining 90% can be paid however suits you, as long as it’s paid in full at least 90 days before your arrival date.
The exact due date is on your booking confirmation.
If you book less than 90 days before arrival, full payment is due when you book.

What’s included

Your retreat includes everything listed on the retreat page and on How It Works.
At each meal, you can choose one dish from the menu plus one non alcoholic drink, and coffee or tea is included with breakfast.
Anything extra is paid during your stay.

Changing your dates

You can change your dates as often as you need, free of charge, as long as you ask more than 90 days before arrival and the new dates are available.
The price for your new dates applies.
Within 90 days of arrival, dates can’t be changed.

Cancellations

Unused services

Anything you choose not to use, such as a class, a massage or an excursion, can’t be refunded.
If an excursion can’t go ahead because of weather or a local ceremony, we’ll move it to another day of your stay, or replace it with an activity of similar value.

Transfers

Airport pick up and drop off are included. If you’d like to be picked up or dropped off somewhere else in Bali, tell us before you arrive. An extra fee may apply depending on the distance.

Your health

Every activity is optional.
Please tell us about any health conditions before you arrive, and check with your doctor before using the sauna or plunge pools if you have a heart condition or high blood pressure, or you’re pregnant.
Please follow the guidance of instructors and staff.

Resort rules

Hotel Komune’s house rules and booking policies apply during your stay, including for reformer Pilates classes.
On Nyepi, Bali’s Day of Silence, everyone must stay inside the resort for 24 hours, and no arrivals or departures are possible.

Travel documents and insurance

You’re responsible for your passport, visa and the Bali tourist levy.
We strongly recommend travel insurance for every trip.

If we can’t provide your retreat

If we have to cancel your retreat for reasons within our control, we’ll offer you new dates or a full refund of everything you’ve paid.

Things outside our control

We’re not responsible for delays or changes caused by events outside our control, such as flight changes, severe weather or natural events, to the extent the law allows.

Your rights

None of these terms affect your rights under the consumer laws of your country.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia.
