You’ve been running on too little sleep and too much screen time for a while now. You don’t need a big adventure. You need a few days where someone else takes care of everything, and your only job is to feel better.
That’s exactly what our 3 night wellness retreat is for. Here’s what it actually feels like, day by day.
Day 1: What happens when you land?
You walk out of arrivals at Bali’s airport and your driver is already there with your name. No taxi queues, no haggling, no working out where you’re going. Just a cool car and the drive out to Keramas, away from the traffic of the busy south.
Check in is from 2pm, and reception is open 24 hours, so landing late at night is no problem at all. If you arrive after 7pm, save the Recovery Center for tomorrow morning. It opens at 8am.
If you arrive in daylight, go straight to the Recovery Center. Sit in the sauna until the flight leaves your body. Slide into the hot plunge. Then the cold one, and suddenly you’re wide awake. Back and forth a few times, then lie on a day bed in the garden and do absolutely nothing. If you’ve never tried it, our guide to sauna, hot plunge and cold plunge explains how to get the most out of it.
Before dinner, stop at reception to book two things: your reformer Pilates classes, which have 6 places per class, and your private session, which needs a day’s notice.
Dinner is served from 6pm. Choose any dish you like from the menu, with a non alcoholic drink. Some nights there’s a Bali Night or live music at the Beach Club, and reception will tell you what’s on. Then an early night, with the sound of the ocean doing the rest.
Day 2: What does a normal retreat day look like?
You’ll probably wake up early. Most people do here. The sun rises straight out of the ocean in front of the resort, and the beach is almost empty.
Classes start from 7am:
- Semi private reformer Pilates at 7am, 8am and 9am (booked at reception)
- Yoga at 7.30am and 9am
- Fitness at 8am and 9.30am
Join one yoga or fitness class, join three, or skip them all and swim. There’s no one keeping score.
Breakfast runs from 6am to 11am, with coffee or tea included, so there’s no rush.
Late morning is a good time for your private session: one hour, one on one, with a fitness, yoga or reformer Pilates coach. Tell them how you’re feeling and what you’d like to work on, and they’ll shape the hour around you.
Lunch is from 12pm. The afternoon is yours: the pool, the beach, a book, a nap. Around 4pm, head back to the Recovery Center. Sauna, hot, cold, repeat. You’ll start to notice your shoulders have dropped.
Dinner, and bed before you’d normally even think about it.
Day 3: When is the massage?
Today is your massage: a full 80 minutes of traditional Balinese massage. The spa is open from 10am to 7pm, so choose whatever time suits you. A lot of people love it in the late afternoon, straight after the Recovery Center, when the body is already warm and loose.
Keep the rest of the day slow. A morning class if you feel like moving. A long lunch. A walk along the black sand beach.
This is also a good morning for an InBody scan. Do it first thing, before breakfast and before any class, for the most accurate results. It shows your muscle, body fat and water, and it’s fun to compare with a second scan on your last morning.
Day 4: What happens on the last day?
One last early class, or one last swim. Your second InBody scan before breakfast if you’re curious. A slow breakfast. Check out is by 11am, and your driver takes you back to the airport.
Three nights won’t change your whole life. But you’ll sleep better, think more clearly, and remember what it feels like to be rested.
Is 3 nights enough?
For a lot of people, yes. If you’re flying from Perth, it’s an easy long weekend. If you’re already in Bali, it’s a calm pause in a busy trip.
But if you’re running on empty, three nights can feel too short.
Our 7 night retreat gives your body time to properly reset, with three massages, a water blessing at Tirta Empul and a morning snorkelling at Blue Lagoon.
If you’re unsure, our guide to choosing between 3 and 7 nights compares them side by side.
Who is the 3 night retreat good for?

- First timers who want to try a retreat
- Anyone adding a calm few days to a bigger Bali holiday
- Men who are tired of being tired
- Couples who want time together without the noise
- Anyone who simply needs some quiet and personal space
